But now onto business--the December Inspiration Gallery.
I also LOVED the other kit, but I went with the less Christmassy option:)
I went with a snowy feel for this layout (loved using the Studio Calico Shine mist that comes with the kit) and added a Maya Road kraft doily from my stash.
This layout is about how I grew up in Hawaii (fun little fact about me) and moved to Ohio and was THRILLED about snow. And I still love the white fluffy stuff, although my new routine driving to work may complicate that this year!
For my next layout, I brought in bolder colors to the color scheme--I love how you can use the same kit to create layouts with really different feels to them.
In case you can't see it clearly, the paper in the photo says "snow day." S took this photo 2 years ago I think, when I was desperately hoping for a snow day and my wishes for finally fulfilled! Journaling reads: Snow days are CLEARLY the very best part of winter!
And those are my December projects for Elle's! I may make a few projects by January 15th as part of the withdrawal process, so I'll share those on here in if I do:)
In other news, S and I are driving to Philadelphia to see family today. And I'm hoping to continue the great "let's compare these 5,000 stroller options and choose one without our brains exploding" debate in the car. Fun stuff!
What are YOU up to this Sunday?
oh gosh, I forgot about stroller shopping. Good luck, I hope you can make up your mind before Bunny gets here lol. Love your projects, elle makes the best stuff.
ReplyDeleteLove both those layouts--they're so fun and cheerful! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the kit you picked to work with for your last projects at Elle. And the layouts are gorgeous. I really love the one about being in Haiwaii. What a change! Best of luck with shopping for stroller! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteLovely layouts Keshet! And wouldn't you know the year that I'm wishing for snow here, it has to be the driest December on record? It's not fair!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous layouts Keshet. Good luck with the stroller decision - it wasn't easy for me 15 years ago so I can't imagine it being any easier now!!

Love your projects Keshet - I feel the same way about those woodgrain papers. I'm guilty of hoarding them!

ReplyDeleteThese are lovely projects!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. These are all so beautiful. Thanks for continually inspiring throughout your term at ES. You asked on my blog about the monthly onesies that my daughter was wearing. They are actually stickers that you put on your own shirts or onesies and I got them from the etsy store, PickySticky. HTH!
