Given this delinquency, I was pleased to find out that the topic for the Write. Click. Scrapbook gallery this month was weddings! You can see the whole gallery here.
For my layout, I focused on one element of the day, the fact that I gained a new family as well as a husband. I used lots of Crate Paper's Portrait line, and some Studio Calico veneer butterflies for good measure.
And now, down to some business:
GIVEAWAY WINNER!!!!!!!!
I have to pick another (let's hope it's the last!) winner for my blog giveaway--the Random.org # is 21, and the winner is Meredith!
I must confess I haven't purged for some time but every now and then I slip a few things my daughter and sons way for them to scrap with (they are 4, 6, 8, 9!!) They love it!
I love the haul of goodies that you have there!!

Also, I promised a prize pack to whoever guessed what my blog secret was--and the winner of that is Sarah Webb!
I am going to guess an inspirational series... Something on scrapping ;) Maybe something for Ella? Looking forward to what it might be!
Ladies, email me at keshet.starr@gmail.com to collect your prizes! Also, don't forget to check back here on Mondays for a new Creative Journey blog series post! (we skipped this week for the holiday weekend).
So tell me--are YOU as bad as I am in scrapping events like weddings??
The worst!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been married 8 years and I think I have scrapped 2 layouts !! oh the shame!!!!!!!
I love your layout beautiful paper line!
What a beautiful page!!! I love the little camera :) It is actually my wedding photos that got me into scrapping and it was also the first album I have ever done :)
ReplyDeleteThat page is gorgeous - thank you so much for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteUm yes, I still need to scrap my daughter's 1st birthday, and I've never scrapped my honeymoon. I am attending a retreat next weekend, and I need to scrap this big events: 1st birthday, 2nd birthday, last halloween, and I know that I have oodles of other stuff to, but those are the big events that come to mind right now :)
ReplyDeleteI've been married 13 years and have never scrapped a wedding picture -lol! I love your layout. I just might go scan some of my wedding pictures and try it out!
ReplyDeleteI've been married for almost two years. I've done a couple layouts for our honeymoon and wedding each. But other people's weddings? I love doing those. I think it's because there's a lot less pressure when it's not my own wedding. I don't care as much about making it perfect -- and there are definitely a lot fewer photos, too!
ReplyDeletelove the LO and Congrats on your secret!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page - you looked so pretty! I did scrapbook a lot of my wedding photos but it was a while back, before kids, and it's pretty but it's not what I would do today. For that reason I suppose I am glad I went with pretty classic style.
ReplyDeletevery very very nice thanks for sharing.. great work....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page. And I love that punch!
ReplyDeletei think your page is lovely...you should definitely scrap more wedding pics!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat page! Too funny about that guess!
ReplyDeleteSuch a delicate and romantic layout, lovely!
ReplyDeleteI was married for 13 years before I scrapped our wedding! My mom asked if I was waiting to see if it would stick. :) Now its been 17 years this month. I think its a keeper. :D Lovely page!

i am in the midst of planning my daughters wedding right now....found a venue today! wahoo. my son got married in Oct and i have done only one layout. i must get busy!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful page Keshet!!
ReplyDeleteI too have neglected my wedding "album". Until a few months ago, when I just decided to start scrapping my favorite pictures from the wedding. I have about 8 pages now. Eventually those layouts will end up in a wedding album, kinda a hodge podge mix.
ReplyDeleteLove your layout!
ok - i'm convinced we are destined to be friends "in real life" -- i finally had time to catch up on blogs tonight and had a million tabs open with your blog being one of the tabs when i got your comment on my blog...small world!
ReplyDeletei am actually pretty good at documenting the "big events"....b/c i normally have pics of them...for me the tougher part is those everyday moments b/c i'm not as good as taking pics of these!
Lovely layout! Yes, I am terrible at scrapping big events like this. I made a mini, but have not really scrapped any of our wedding photos in a 12x12 format.
ReplyDeleteSoooo pretty, Keshet!
ReplyDeleteUmmmm, YES! I am bad at big stuff. Especially trips...I tend to do a couple of pages and then just stick all the rest of pictures into photo pages. Then feel a little bit like a failure of a scrapper! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that you mentioned and "oldy but goody" punch. I have a few I've owned for more than a decade and they still get used a lot. Love that! Although...I DON'T have the one you mentioned, but now I want it.
This is terrific! I may have to get that punch if I can find it.
ReplyDeleteI love this subtle layout Keshet! Am SUCH a Crate fan!! And YES I can totally relate to not scrapping the major events - I haven't done my wedding album yet either (and my eldest is 18 LOL!)
ReplyDeleteADORE this layout Keshet!
