I've been meaning to post these shots for AGES, but life just got in the way.
Darn life. Always wanting to me to do things, go to work, cook dinner, meet deadlines, etc. etc. But I digress.
A few months ago, S and I were lucky to do a photoshoot with Alexis Hardy--who is an awesome scrapper as well as photog, and to be fair, should continue to scrap so that I can look at her pages! I mean, really:)
I was a bit nervous before the shoot, but aside from the 7 bajillion dogs we encountered (I'm terrified of dogs, and leashes seem to have gone out of style) we had a great time! We met in Central Park, and Alexis really knew her way around there--which is good, because it's a labyrinth to me!
Here are some of my faves:
He cracks me up.
This is just waiting to be enlarged on a layout. Can't WAIT to use it, with all of that delicious white space!
This one just slays me. I love it. Love love love it. I would marry it if I wasn't already married to the guy in it. (Can you tell I'm writing this post past my bedtime?)
Loving the vintage bench look....
How gorgeous is this scenery?
Do YOU get professional photos done ever? What is your usual plan for family pictures?
Wishing you all a splendiforous weekend!
And if you're looking for some scrappy inspiration this weekend, check out this week's Sketchy Thursdays sketch and play along!
These photo's are soooo gorgeous. I love every one of them. We never get family photo's done. Sad eh. Every year I want to but it never happens. Maybe because everyone in my home is a photographer...well except for me
ReplyDeletegorgeous photos of a gorgeous couple!
ReplyDeletefamily photos=hell on earth! my oldest son is autistic and hates to have his picture taken, when its just him and I can be out of from acting like a cuckoo to make him laugh its fine, but when its all of together and someone else has to try its awful...but worth it!
ReplyDeleteYou two make a gorgeous couple and so the photos are just amazing. And the photographer clearly knows her stuff too.
ReplyDeleteSince I started scrapbooking I'm a bit obsessed with taking family photos. It's hard because to get us all (my four older stepchildren are all over the place) in one place at the same time is a rare occurrence. But I have one planned for the day after Christmas. And when I say planned, colour scheme selected, some outfits already bought... yes, obsessed!
These photos look beautiful, Keshet! We had engagement photos taken by a friend, but haven't had any taken since!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! How fun that you did this. Reminds me I want to get professional family shots taken sometime!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous Keshet - you are your hubby are cute as buttons. You look so comfortable in front of the camera and so happy :) Thanks for sharing these!
ReplyDeletebtw...where is that? Gorgeous scenery!
Your photos are gorgeous!!! I especially love the black and white shots!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteYou two are such a handsome couple! Love it!:-) I haven't had a professional photo session, but just met the nicest girl that has a photography business. I got her card and am going to give her a call to set it up.
ReplyDeleteYou two are such a cute couple! Fab photos!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely--you two look terrific, and what a beautiful setting too.
ReplyDeleteThese pics are so beautiful! I too love that black and white at an angle - so cute :) TFS!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, you two are so cute!
ReplyDeleteShe did a wonderful job! I would love to have professional photos taken, but I can honestly say I wouldn't know how to display them. If you walked into my house you wouldn't know who lived here, there are no photos displayed...yet.
ReplyDeleteWhile these are all wonderful the one with all of the white space really is magical! What a fabulous scene for pics.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful :) You guys look great!
ReplyDeleteKeshet, these are absolutely lovely! You two are such a beautiful couple. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat darling pictures of you and your man! I love them all! Beautiful scenery and a beautiful couple. I can't wait to see how you scrap them! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thanksgiving Keshet!
Gorgeous pics, Keshet! Makes me want to find a professional for a photo shoot, too... Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are simply gorgeous!!! I love each one of them!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!
e.
Your pics are beautiful...they are so amazing!
ReplyDeleteWe actually just had our family pics done for the first time in 7 years. My sister in law is a photographer and had been asking to do our pics for a long time, but I always had a reason not to do it...i.e. I want to be thinner, the kids needed haircuts...etc. I'm so glad we finally got them done, they turned out so well.
Glad you posted yours, Alexis did such a great job on them.
